Stand for Freedom of Speech in Wisconsin

Less than a week ago, the Wisconsin Government Accountability Board (GAB), a non-elected board appointed by Governor Doyle, issued a new administrative rule that regulates and limits political speech and subjects violators to civil and criminal penalties.

The ruling is the most serious threat to our freedom of speech that I have witnessed in my lifetime.

I agree with my political opponent, Scot Ross with One Wisconsin Now, who said, “Under the new rule, now free speech becomes regulated speech.”

I can assure the members of Americans for Prosperity, the patriots of the Tea Party Movement, and members of all other liberty advancing groups that we take this action very, very seriously and we have our legal team exploring all options to respond to this outrage.

Find more details at www.fightbackwisconsin.com. Remember “NOVEMBER IS COMING!”

Thanks,

Mark Block, State Director, Americans for Prosperity

p.s. Vicki McKenna, the rock star of radio, did a show on this outrage. Click Here to hear her and James Troopis discuss the actions of GAB.

Dan Kapanke for U.S. Congress – 3rd District

A reminder the 7th Congressional District, we aren’t the only District with a great candidate trying to win in November.  State Senator Dan Kapanke spoke about his campaign for Congress at the Wisconsin Republican State Convention in Milwaukee, WI.  Dan Kapanke is running for the 3rd District Congressional Seat for the United States Congress.

Scott Feldt for Wisconsin State Treasurer

Scott Feldt, candidate for Wisconsin State Treasurer, spoke to me about the important purpose of the State Treasurer’s office. According to Feldt, the State Treasurer’s office controls Billions of dollars of other people’s money and a change in leadership would assure that the money is handled properly in the future.

Karl Rove at the Wisconsin Republican’s State Convention

Republicans were honored to have Karl Rove delivered the keynote address at the Wisconsin Republican’s State Convention in Milwaukee, WI last month.  After an exciting day of endorsing candidates, voting on policies, and rallying the troops – it was refreshing to hear Mr. Rove speak with such clarity as he described the events happening in Washington D.C. since Barack Obama took office.

If you weren’t able to attend the sold out event, we invite you to listen to the audio below and please leave feedback.

Rebecca Kleefisch, Candidate for Lt. Governor

Rebecca Kleefisch, candidate for Lt. Governor, spoke to me at the State Republican Convention in Milwaukee, WI.

Rebecca has experience in marketing and media and was an on camera news personality in a major market. She exposed some of the political corruption in Madison by asking tough questions during her assignment as an investigative reporter.

As Lt. Governor, she believes she can help the Governor bring new business ventures to Wisconsin by using her marketing and personal relations skills.

She has an opinion on the business climate in Wisconsin and how it needs to be fixed. She scolds Rep. Dave Obey for voting for the tax increases that have help drive businesses out of Wisconsin.

Ben Collins, Candidate for Lt. Governor

Watch the Wis7GOP interview with Lt. Governor Candidate, Ben Collins.

Ben Collins, a former Green Beret Commander and Afghanistan war vet, says his strengths include leadership. He currently owns and operates runs a successful business in Wisconsin and feels that a new Republican Governor is going to need a leader by his side.

Wisconsin continues to loose jobs and employers at a record pace and the a new Wisconsin administration will have an up hill battle to wage to try and bring new jobs and businesses into Wisconsin.

It appears that President Obama is waging his own war against Capitalism and business, by doing everything he can to destroy our nations economy.

Republicans are scrambling to find ways to thwart the progress of Socialism and Marxism spewing out of the White House and many are wondering if President Obama is actually, as many Conservatives Talk Show hosts are saying, collapsing the economy on purpose.

We need conservatives running our State and Federal government that believe in what the founders believed. Wisconsin needs a Lt. Governor that will stands for less government, lower taxes, and bringing business to Wisconsin again.

Mayor Dave Ross – Candidate for Lt. Governor of Wisconsin

Mayor Dave Ross – Candidate for Lt. Governor of Wisconsin was interviewed by Wis7GOP at the Republican State Convention in Milwaukee, WI.  Dave is the Mayor of Superior, WI and is a “Conservative that was elected and re-elected in a Democrat City” that was still able to get the job done.

Hear what Dave says sets him apart from his competitors in this race and what he wants to do as Lt. Governor.

Scott Walker, Candidate for Governor at the 2010 State Convention

Kirk Anderson, from the Wisconsin 7th Congressional District, interviewed Scott Walker, Candidate for Governor at the 2010 State Convention in Milwaukee.  Scott Walker received overwhelming support from the delegates at the convention and received the endorsement of the Wisconsin Republican Party.

Scott was asked to comment on the economic situation in the state and the deteriorating  business climate.  With the news that Polaris Industries will soon be closing their doors, Scott Walker reminds us that tax increases are bad for business and job creation comes from lowering the cost of doing business, not burdening businesses with more taxes.
